Key Duties and Responsibilities:

The duties of a Registered Nurse may vary depending on the clinical setting but will generally encompass the following:

  • Diagnostic Tests: Perform and interpret diagnostic tests to aid in the diagnosis and treatment planning process.
  • Health History: Collect and maintain comprehensive patient health histories to support accurate care decisions.
  • Patient Education: Counsel and educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and healthcare management.
  • Medication Management: Administer medications, intravenous therapies, and other prescribed treatments, while ensuring proper dosage and patient safety.
  • Wound Care: Expertly change wound dressings, manage catheters, and perform other specialized treatment procedures.
  • Clinical Documentation: Accurately record and interpret patient data, collaborating with healthcare professionals to make informed treatment decisions.
  • Care Coordination: Consult with supervisors, physicians, and other team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Supervision: Provide guidance and supervision to nursing assistants, nurse aides, and other support staff to ensure the delivery of quality patient care.
  • Continuous Improvement: Engage in ongoing research and learning to enhance healthcare processes and optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

  1. Have at least 3-5 years of nursing experience in a local accredited hospital in your home country or country of residence.
  2. Have Nursing qualifications like a Bachelors degree or an accepted Nursing Diploma recognized and accepted in the United States
  3. Have passed local nursing exam in the state in which you are applying
  4. Have passed the IELTS examination.
